Basant Bahar- Spring blooms

The desert has come alive with the blooming wildflowers and trees. Some years the blooms are more abundant than others, and I think this year was one such year. The weather has also been beautiful lately, with really nice-long-cool evenings, just the right weather to enjoy outdoors.

In pictures is Palo Verde (pal-oh ver-dee) which is Arizona's official state tree

Nice capture.. I could only wish the first pic was a bit more sharp :)

The story is no different here in Bangalore at this point of time. All the road side trees are at exhibiting their best colors through their flowers.. i have captured a couple of purple and yellow beauties.. shall post them soon :)

I love the yellow against the dreamy blue of the first picture. In Chennai all the avenue trees are coming into bloom, a real visual treat.

Please do take more pictures of the blooming wildflowers and trees! I would love to see them. It has been a long winter. Now that it's getting a bit sunnier,I'm sure there are thousands of pictures to take :-)
