Layalena- an Mediterranean Experience

Recently went to a party hosted by some of our Middle Eastern friends at “Layalena- Mediterranean Experience” in the city. It was a night filled with laughter, friends, good food and drinks and singing and dancing…… ahem…yes dancing ……
Star of the show- Roxana- had many-a-men drooling! :)

My attempts at creative touch…

Got to experience live band playing Lebanese, Jordanian, Iranian, and Iraqi and so forth Middle Eastern songs….. very melodious and powerful music…

Fun…friends…and laughter…..

Eating experience started with “The Sample Mezza” with Hummus, baba ganouj, falafel, labneh, m’hammara, and grape leaves............served with a side of stuffed olives and pickled cucumber and carrots

Some Mediterranean Chicken Kebabs …. I am a-veggi!

And last but not least- the most popular drink of the night – Lebanese beer- Almaza!!

Wow, the change in the template looks good. But I am used to the old style of your blog. Made me feel very travel-tempted. I dont know why.

Pics as usual are your forte and the description leaves the reader drooling as you aimed at. The food is simply yumm.
Glad you updated real quick.

Hi ,

I was reading ur blog posts and found some of them to be very good.. u write well.. Why don't you popularize it more.. ur posts on ur blog ‘Travelogue - Moments in Time ’ took my particular attention as some of them are interesting topics of mine too;

BTW I help out some ex-IIMA guys who with another batch mate run www.rambhai.com where you can post links to your most loved blog-posts. Rambhai was the chaiwala at IIMA and it is a site where users can themselves share links to blog posts etc and other can find and vote on them. The best make it to the homepage!

This way you can reach out to rambhai readers some of whom could become your ardent fans.. who knows.. :)

You can also win an exciting t-shirt by winning the contest which is going on in rambhai.com…. hurry up the contest is from 10 – 24 august…

Cheers,
